I would like to be a senator because they represent the people living in their state. Also part of this job is to write and vote on new laws called ”bill.” I would like representing my state and writing and voting on new bills that is why I want to be a senator. Another reason why I want to be a senator is because I think I will do a better job as senator than any other presidential job. As a senator you are the only one that can approve or reject treaties and presidential nominations for government offices. The Constitution states the qualifications for being a senator. To be a senator a person must be at least 30 years old, a U.S. citizen for at least 9 years, and have fulfilled the requirement for residency in the state that person wishes to represent. That is why I want to be a senator.
